FLOATLIFE
Terms and Conditions
Terms and conditions:
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made 24 hours before your float session’s scheduled time and date.
Any cancellation or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the float session will not be entitled to a refund. Gift vouchers are non-refundable.
Refund:
When a refund is issued, please allow 5-7 days for the refund to go through. This is standard for the stripe gateway we use.
Entry Requirements:
You are prohibited from entering the site under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
I agree to take care when entering/exiting the pod and whilst using the shower facilities at FLOATLIFE.
I understand that floatation pods can become slippery due to the water and Epsom salt. I confirm that I can enter and exit the floatation pod independently.
If I require assistance, I will contact the centre in advance to make suitable arrangements.
FLOATLIFE reserves the right to refuse entry.
Health Considerations:
Do not float if you suffer from epilepsy or seizure conditions, incontinence, serious heart disease, low blood pressure, psychosis, kidney disease, currently receiving chemotherapy or radiotherapy, high risk pregnancies, severe skin conditions, gastrointestinal upset, open wounds, allergy or sensitivity to magnesium sulphate (epsom salts) or hydrogen peroxide. We recommend that if you have any pre-existing health conditions or concerns you consult with your healthcare provider before booking a floatation session. A more extensive list of medical conditions that are not recommended for floatation therapy can be found on our FAQs page and on our waiver. Please read over the list to check your eligibility.
Due to the private nature of the floatation session, please ensure you can independently enter and exit the float tank. Take care at all times as areas can become wet and slippery.
Age Restriction:
Participants must be 16 years or older. Identification may be requested upon arrival.
Varied Experiences:
Individual experiences during floating sessions may differ. We recommend you float at least 2-3 times in a fairly short period before deciding if it will be one of your go-to self-care tools.
No refund is provided based on the subjective nature of the experience.
Participants agree to participate in float sessions at their own risk.
Liability Disclaimer:
By floating at float life, you agree that you fully understand the liability waiver, and if you are unsure you will ask for interpretation to fully understand before you float. Please also read the below points
1. I am over the age of 16
2. I am aware that I will be spending 1 hour alone, floating in 10” – 12″ of epsom salt water
3. I am responsible for my actions.
4. I can climb in and out of the tank independently and open and close the lid. I have read the health considerations list above and on our FAQs page.
5. I am aware that I must float with my head by the Pod Opening end of the Float Pod
6. I am aware that I must vacate the Pod once the light and music comes on at the end of my session booking time
7. I am aware that by not following points 5 and 6, I put myself at risk of hair entanglement when the water filter activates and I accept all liabilities
8. I acknowledge that I am responsible for my personal belongings and any damage to my personal property during my time at the centre.
9. I hereby affirm that I am in good health and have no physical or mental conditions that could affect my ability to safely participate in floatation therapy. I will inform the centre of any changes.
10. In the event of an emergency, I authorize Float life to seek and obtain any necessary medical treatment for me.
11. I release Float life, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any liability for personal injury, property damage, or any other claims arising out of or in connection with my participation in floatation therapy.
You MUST inform the staff member of any existing medical conditions or medical concerns you have.
If you have a mental health condition that might impact your ability to float safely or comfortably (e.g. PTSD, schizophrenia, severe depression, suicidal thoughts), we recommend that you seek approval from a medical practitioner before floating.
FLOATLIFE is not liable for the loss of personal belongings on or off-site.
Arrival and Lateness:
Arrival of 10 minutes before the session is recommended. Anyone 10 minutes late is subject to cancellation. Late arrivals of 10 minutes or more may need to be rescheduled at the staff member’s discretion. This is due to the nature of the floatation session, requiring a quiet environment for optimal relaxation and focus during sessions.
Avoid eating or drinking shortly before the session to enhance the floating experience. It is also wise to avoid caffeine before your session because caffeine is a stimulant, and it may affect your ability to relax during your therapy session.
Damage and Misuse:
Guests are responsible for intentional damage or misuse of items during the session. You must read and sign the waiver before your floatation session.
Conduct Policy:
Harassment towards employees will not be tolerated, and FLOATLIFE reserves the right to eject individuals without compensation.
Booking Requirements:
Only individuals aged 16 or older are permitted to book a session. You must read and sign the waiver before you book a floatation session. We also advise that you have a look at our FAQs page.
It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of your booking details.
Communication Preferences:
FLOATLIFE may contact you with offers and promotions unless otherwise specified.
Customer Complaints:
If you have any complaints, please inform reception on the day or contact us via email at Floatlifelvp@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 24 hours to resolve the issue satisfactorily.
